Can treated lumber and old fencing go in?
Yes. Treated lumber, fence panels, and deck boards all ride fine. Pull the concrete footings off the posts first. Or tell us, so the weight math includes them.
What about a water heater?
Yes. No refrigerant, so it’s just a heavy appliance. Drain it first, because forty gallons of water is eighty free pounds on your scale ticket.
Can I toss food waste or a full fridge of spoiled food?
Small bagged amounts are fine. A fridge full of spoiled food after an outage is different. Bag it and use your curbside cart over the week instead. A bin sitting in July heat with food in it is a problem you don’t want in your driveway.
