Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website located at dumpstercapegirardeau.com (the “Site”) and any dumpster rental services provided by Cape Girardeau Dumpster Rental (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operating out of Scott City, Missouri. By using this Site or booking our services, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Services

We provide roll-off dumpster rental services in Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Scott City, and surrounding areas of Southeast Missouri. Service availability, pricing, and delivery windows are subject to change. We reserve the right to decline any rental request at our discretion.

2. Reservations and Payment

Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment or verbal/written agreement. Flat-rate pricing covers delivery, pickup, disposal, and the included tonnage as stated at the time of booking. Prices are subject to change without notice until a reservation is confirmed.

Payment is due at or before the time of delivery unless a prior credit arrangement has been established. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as stated at the time of booking.

3. Rental Period

Standard rental period is seven (7) days from the date of delivery. If you need the dumpster longer, contact us before the rental period ends. Extensions are available on a per-day basis at the rate quoted at the time of your request. We reserve the right to retrieve the dumpster after the rental period expires without additional notice.

4. Delivery and Placement

You are responsible for selecting an appropriate placement location — driveway, yard, or job site — that is accessible, safe, and free of obstructions. We place protective boards under every container to minimize surface damage, but we are not liable for any damage to driveways, lawns, pavement, or other surfaces that may result from the weight of the dumpster and its contents.

For street or right-of-way placement, a City of Cape Girardeau permit is required. We can guide you through the permit process at no charge, but obtaining the permit is your responsibility prior to delivery.

5. Weight Limits and Overage Charges

Each rental includes a stated tonnage allowance. If the weight of your debris exceeds the included tonnage, an overage charge of $95 per ton applies, pro-rated from the scale ticket. You will be provided a copy of the scale ticket. Wet or rain-soaked debris can significantly increase weight — tarp your bin if rain is expected.

6. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from our dumpsters:

  • Hazardous waste of any kind
  • Tires
  • Batteries (automotive or otherwise)
  • Liquids, paints, solvents, or chemicals
  • Refrigerators, air conditioners, or any appliances containing refrigerant (Freon)
  • Asbestos-containing materials
  • Medical or biological waste
  • Electronics containing hazardous components (e-waste), unless otherwise agreed

Placing prohibited items in a dumpster may result in additional disposal fees, retrieval of the dumpster without refund, and liability for any fines or cleanup costs imposed on us by regulatory agencies. You are solely responsible for the contents of your dumpster.

7. Loading Requirements

Debris must be loaded level with the top rail of the dumpster. Overloaded bins — where debris extends above the rail — cannot be transported legally under Missouri law (RSMo 307.010) and will not be picked up until the load is reduced to rail height. No refund or credit is issued for delays caused by an overloaded container.

8. Property Access

By scheduling a delivery, you confirm that you have the legal authority to authorize placement of a dumpster at the stated location, and that our drivers have permission to access the property to deliver and retrieve the container. We are not responsible for access issues caused by locked gates, parked vehicles, or obstructions discovered at the time of delivery or pickup.

9. Damage and Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Surface damage resulting from dumpster placement, including driveways, pavement, or landscaping
  • Damage caused by items placed improperly in or around the dumpster by you or third parties
  • Theft of or from the dumpster while on your property
  • Any injury occurring in or around the dumpster while on your property

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, including prohibited items, improper loading, or unauthorized placement.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee. Once a dumpster has been delivered, no refund is issued for unused rental days.

11. Use of This Website

You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes. You may not use it to transmit any unlawful, harmful, or objectionable content, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems.

We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding the accuracy, completeness, or availability of information on this Site. Pricing, availability, and service details are subject to change and should be confirmed by calling (417) 457-4868.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, images, logos, and page designs — is the property of Cape Girardeau Dumpster Rental or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Site content without our express written permission.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to this Site. Continued use of the Site or our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
