How to Estimate Your Concrete Job
A standard driveway slab runs 4 inches thick. So a 20 by 20 foot pad is about 5 cubic yards of concrete, which weighs around 10 tons and means two half-filled 10 yard hauls. A sidewalk section or small patio often fits one haul. Measure length, width, and thickness, call, and the estimate takes less time than reading this paragraph did.
